Bentley debuts its opulent flagship, the Bentayga Extended Wheelbase Azure, in Singapore, presenting the epitome of luxury and performance in the 2023 SUV segment. In a recent showcase, the British carmaker introduced this elongated model, extending the cabin by 180mm, amplifying the spaciousness at the rear.
While visually akin to its standard wheelbase sibling, the Bentayga EWB Azure boasts 22-inch ten-spoke wheels and distinctive self-levelling wheel badges, distinguishing its grandeur. Bentley elevates this model with two standard advanced technologies: Electronic All-Wheel Steering and Bentley Dynamic Ride.
The all-wheel steering system dynamically adjusts the rear wheel's direction in response to the driver's steering input, enhancing stability at high speeds and maneuverability in tighter spaces, with a turning radius 7% smaller than the standard model.
Complementing this, the Bentley Dynamic Ride system ensures a balanced ride quality during cornering while limiting cabin roll. This, combined with a 27% reduction in secondary ride vibration, enhances the Bentayga EWB's serene driving experience.
Within the Bentley Airline Seat Specification-adorned rear cabin, passengers luxuriate in a First-Class-esque environment. The seats offer 16-way powered adjustments, heating, ventilation, and massage functions, providing unparalleled comfort.
The SUV boasts revolutionary features like Seat Auto Climate, maintaining ideal temperatures through intelligent sensors. The pioneering Postural Adjust feature, stimulating blood flow through subtle seat adjustments, further reduces fatigue on extended journeys.
Rear passengers command the cabin's features from their airline-like seats, accessing the Bentayga EWB's array of onboard functionalities via a detachable touchscreen panel, offering seamless control.
In addition to a sumptuous leather-clad front cabin, polished aluminum trims, and extensive seat amenities, customers can opt for the Naim sound system, a pinnacle of acoustic luxury featuring 20 speakers and a 1780W amplifier. Under the hood, Bentley's 4.0-liter V8 engine delivers a robust 542 bhp and 770 Nm of torque, propelling the Bentayga EWB from 0 to 100 km/h in a swift 4.6 seconds.
