The first-ever BMW i5 Touring is now available in Singapore, with prices starting from S$399,888 including COE. This new addition to BMW's electric car lineup introduces the popular estate body style, complementing the 5 Series Sedan and i5 Sedan, and shares its architecture with the 5 Series Touring.
The i5 Touring mirrors the 5 Series Touring in appearance, featuring a boxy yet sporty exterior synonymous with station wagons. The front design incorporates BMW Iconic Glow contour lighting around the kidney grille and adaptive LED headlights with blue accents. Additionally, the M Sport Package comes standard, including 20-inch M aerodynamic wheels, an M logo, horizontal slats, and high-gloss black mirror caps.
Inside, the i5 Touring boasts a fully digital BMW Curved Display running the BMW Operating System 8.5, the BMW Interaction Bar, and a fully vegan interior. These features are also found in the i5 Sedan, ensuring a seamless blend of luxury and technology.
The touring body style of the i5 Touring offers enhanced practicality, providing 570 liters of capacity with the rear seats up and up to 1,700 liters with the 40:20:40 split rear seats folded down.
Powered by a single electric motor on the rear axle, the i5 Touring eDrive40 generates 240kW (340hp) and 430Nm of torque, enabling it to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 6.1 seconds. The 81.2kWh battery offers a maximum range of up to 548km on a single charge. Charging capabilities include up to 22kW on an AC charger and up to 205kW on a DC fast charger.
Customers purchasing the i5 Touring can choose between a complimentary BMW Wallbox with installation service or a Shell Recharge subscription with 10,000kWh of charging credits usable over three years.
